Smart Trailer
PetroStar Services, LLC. Smart Trailer is a full data acquisition system designed to be used in tandem with a conventional mixing plant. With 3 on board chem-add pumps the smart trailer takes the guess work out of chemical dosing while at the same time accurately tracking the total chemical used over the course of the job. Additionally, the Smart Trailer allows for the mixing plant operator to monitor both circulating and wellhead pressures in real time through the use of high pressure transducers as well as monitoring flowback rates through a guided wave radar tank strapping system. An acoustic monitor is attached both upstream and downstream of the plug catcher allowing for a differential to be calculated as plug parts return to surface. The Smart Trailer is also equipped with a viscometer skid that allows for real time viscosity data to be collected from both the active and slugging tanks on the mixing plant. Tank level sensor can also be installed in the mixing plant tub and can be set to alert the operator to preempt potential spills. The smart trailer brings technology to conventional reliability.

Data Acquisition Mixing Plants
PetroStar Services Data Acquisition Mixing Plants are designed to be the best of both worlds combining the reliability and functionality of a conventional mixing plant with state-of-the-art chemical injection, blending, and data tracking technology. The DA plant comes with 4 chem – add pumps with the ability to direct inject 4 chemicals at a time. There is an additional option to pump two chemicals into either the 25-barrel or 50-barrel onboard slugging tanks to allow for increased hydration time. All fluid leaving the plant passes through a static mixer to insure homogenization. Chemical injection rates are flow dependent and measured using Micro – Motion flow meters to ensure accurate dosage. The DA plant also comes equipped with 2 high pressure transducers to monitor circulating and wellhead pressures in real time.
